STATEMENT FROM IKC

It is with deep regret that IKC will have to shut the track as of midnight tonight. Due to the current rules implemented by our government we have to close our facility for the foreseeable future. We will remain open tonight till 9pm but that will be it.

This has been one if the hardest decisions I’ve personally had to deal with especially with all the hard work put in over the past 3 years to get us in the best shape we’ve been in. But we also understand everyone’s health is more important.

IKC will do everything in its power to open the track as soon as humanly possible. We would like to ask our members to keep an eye out on Facebook as we will be looking to save money and using club members for maintenance, mowing, painting, general repairs etc. If we can all ban together and use this closure to make our club facilities up to scratch then we are ready to go full stream ahead when allowed.

Also if you can all look at the new KA officials training program which you can do online in about 30 mins so we can boost our officials and not burn out all our current ones.

Please stay safe in this trying period and remember as soon as we can we will open and having as many race meetings as we can.
